Here is Sony’s take on point-and-shoot cameras’ evolution, Sony made them smarter with the new T700 and T77 (A lot of 7s in this issue).
The DSC-T77 digicam is Sony’s thinnest model packing a 10-megapixel sensor, ISO up to 3,200, eleven scene modes, in-camera image management, face detection and a 3-inch touchscreen.
While the DSC-T700 does everything the T77 does but throws in 4GB of internal storage and a 3.5-inch LCD (photo album in your pocket) Both units sport a Carl Zeiss lens, 4x optical zoom, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and even an anti-blink function.
Both cameras are out this month, the T77 is going for $300, and the T700 retails for $400.
