How would you treat an old wrinkled handbag? You give it a Botox shot, and that’s exactly what Mauro Orietti-Carella did.
When Mauro started working with the reviving Italian accessory label Zagliani, he noticed the similarities between crocodile and human skin, he discovered that the cell structure was almost identical when it comes to retaining water. He then acquired a silicon solution from a friend who works as a plastic surgeon to create an eternally soft crocodile leather.
After that Mauro Orietti-Carella spent five years developing a silicon-based formula with a mixture of trial, error, and persistence, in the end he managed to get the secret formula and procedure right. After mastering that technique, he successfully applied the same method to Calf skin, Ostrich, and Python, which became part of this posh collection. The result was a buttery-soft and luxurious feel.
Ironically young Carella returned to Italy to study medicine, after spending his childhood in Japan, he even wanted to specialize in dermatology, but dropped out. Who would have guessed that he would end up treating skin, the fashionable type. He still administers every injection himself.
Although some think that Mauro Zagliani is new to the handbags scene. The Zagliani label has been in the market since 1947 producing handbags for companies like Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and Donna Karan. Yet no one has these new injected leather bags except the original Zagliani.
Mauro Zagliani is carried by A-List Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Kim Cattrall, Alex Curran, Kate Moss. These bags are available at Saks, Harvey Nichols, and Al Mayass both Jeddah and Riyadh branches.
Now the Zagliani brand stands for refinement, it exemplifies the true luxury, that does not require flashy logos or initials to indicate its true presence.
